The current Stanninley U16 2022 – 2023 team are without doubt the most exciting youth team to be playing under the Stanningley badge.
Having played their first competitive season in 2019, they won every cup available to them, including The Yorkshire BARLA Cup – Beating fellow Yorkshiremen Hull Wyke, who were themselves unbeaten – 26-4, The Yorkshire Juniors Challenge Cup – Beating fellow Division 1 team Hunslet Parkside 28-0, The Leeds & District Cup – Beating Division 2 team Kippax 40-6, before completing the full haul and winning the Division 1 League Title unbeaten in all competitions.
